She was brought into us as a stray from Malan Stasie in January last year! With a wound so terrible to her hind leg, we were very limited to what we could do, until Dr Bernice from Wellington Animal Hospital Group came to the rescue and did the amputation out of her own pocket. We knew she was so special from the start but even being so affectionate and loving, we were never able to find her a new home in the last year and a half.
Then the de Coning Family arrived and decided that they not only needed Ballantine in their lives but also our dearest Robin! (I still think it was down to Brian and Cawilhmi Taljaard’s video)
So off Robin went, back up to see Dr Bernice again to be sterilised and complete her cycle with us. I will not lie, there were many tears shed but happy tears as she went off to start her new life in one of the best-suited families we could have hoped for, so we are eternally grateful they were able to open their home and hearts to take home two of our adult cats xxxx
We can only humbly thank you all for your kindness and support.
