Our Mission: Wellington SPCA serves to prevent cruelty and the ill treatment of animals by promoting their good treatment by humans.
Applications are invited for the following position: Qualified Inspector
The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Operations and will require the following attributes:
– Qualification Requirements:
• NSPCA Certificate of Competency
• AWA qualification (SAVC registration an advantage)
• LAE competency
• Valid unendorsed EB license
• Clean Police Clearance Certificate
– Language & General Requirements
• Proficiency in English and Afrikaans
• Good computer and administration skills
• Physical fitness
• Excellent animal handling skills
– Personal Characteristics:
• A passion for animals and their welfare
• High standard of ethics and discretion regarding sensitive Information
• Excellent time management
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Ability to follow instructions
• Good interpersonal skills
